The Yucaipa Music and Art Festival continues today, 12 to 10 and Sunday 12 to 7. Plenty of things to see and do for the entire family. We are near Adams St, as part of the Gem and Mineral Show. It was good to see some old friends yesterday. This is a family oriented event and the turn out yesterday was filled with a lot of people, young and old. Join us today and see that I did get away from the giant lizard.

“Are we there yet?” an iconic question any family that has taken car trips can appreciate. The adventure of life is the journey with its destination, eternity. We met a young teen who commented on some of the pewter dragons. “They’re just a myth,” he said. “Dragons are mentioned in the Bible,” I responded. To him, the Bible was a myth and he had very definite opinions of life. (Much like myself at that age, I thought.) “Keep an open mind,” I encouraged him. As he travels through this adventure called life, his opinions will change.
We are on our way home after four weeks and four shows. Next is the Yucaipa Music Festival and the Gem and Mineral show, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Have a blessed week and enjoy this adventure called life!
