Sherry & Tim – Glass Art, Minerals – We Love What We Do

Tim and Sherry inside the Air Pirate gold mine in Nevada, that belongs to friends of ours.

We retired as RNs (Registered Nurses) ten years ago.   Excitedly,  we have taken our hobbies and moved them into a second career.  We also enjoy field trips as amateur geologists and mineralogists.

We sell in hope that those buying our art are happy with a piece of art that will decorate their home or their person.  Education was a big part of our healthcare careers, and we like to educate our customers from show to show.

Thank you for visiting our site.   People ask if we have a website, “yes” to that, but “no,” we do not have an on-line store.  We travel much and are often in areas with no cell phone or internet service, please feel free to contact us. We will answer messages as we can.

You can see Our Current Show Schedule and Our Recent Showings, by clicking on these links.

Above is a selfie from trip to visit friends in Nevada. They gave us a tour of their gold mine that dates back 1 1/2 centuries and still has gold to mine!  Our shows and travel take us primarily throughout the Western United States.

Our posts function to educate on various topics, chronicle our travels and shows, and share our philosophies and our faith.  Your comments and discussion are encouraged.  You can subscribe to our “blog” by email as well.

Glass Art by Sherry

Sherry working on a glass project

Sherry, in addition to being an RN, is proud to be a Vietnam Era Veteran USAF, part Blackfoot Indian, sharing six children and 40 plus grandchildren/great-grandchildren and a California native.

Her love for stained and decorative glass was inspired after touring churches in Europe during her military service.

Sherry designs all of her work, incorporating minerals, fossils and other items that we have collected from nature.

Jewelry Designs by Timothy

Tim clamps a rock in the slab saw, nicknamed “Big John.”

Jewelry should be used to accentuate the inner beauty & nature of the wearer.  The Bible tells us not to use expensive jewelry to win the influence of others.  True beauty is what comes from within us, not what is on the outside.

In the spirit of Psalms 139:14, let us praise God, for we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”  Joyfully wear your jewelry and don’t spend a fortune to show off the inner you!

Designs by Timothy feature hand cut and polished stones that Tim and Sherry have collected throughout the United States.
