Citrine is a popular crystal. A variation of quartz, it receives its amber color from microscopic iron reacting along with a mix of eons of time, temperature, heat and solar radiation. Amazing what God creates. The birthstone of November, it is popular all year long. Pictured above is a citrine tower we recently cut and polished. This one sits on display in our home, atop an antique wood burning stove. We will have three more to offer at our upcoming show in Lucerne Valley.
Spring is in the air, here in Southern California. That means warm sunny weather alternating with cold winter rains – not too much rain, though this season. Gardening, our other hobby, keeps us busy when we are not creating, or on the road.
Visit our 2021 Show Schedule page to see upcoming show details. Hope to see you there. Have fun, be safe.
Spring yard work since getting back from Quartzsite. Lucene Valley Show is just around the corner. A lot of excitement about this show. Hope to see you there.
Sherry is working on some new glass pieces. I have been slabbing some rough rock and each slice is a wonder in itself. Our yard and hobbies consume much of our time – to our delight. Some doctor appointments, a routine visit to the dentist – things that are not as much fun, but we are thankful to have access to good healthcare.
This is a fun show for the entire family. Feb 12-14 at the QIA event center, 235 E Ironwood St., Quartzsite, Arizona. Our show last month in Quartzsite was fantastic. We have been home briefly and will get back on the road for this show. Hope to see you there. Have fun while being safe.
