A window to the world is presented to us at each show that we display. I am a people watcher and enjoy the interaction between people and especially their children. Most are polite, cheerful inquisitive and interact delightfully with their parents and with us. This weekend will be no exception. Spring Jamboree in Boulder City draws a huge crowd and it will be a lot of fun. In addition to the arts and crafts there will be music, food and an antique mall. And of course we will be there. The stained glass art above demonstrates Sherry’s use of pewter and minerals, together with the stained glass. Some see unique one of a kind pieces by a truly gifted artist.

The Spring Jamboree in Boulder City, Nevada is a huge event for this dam town. Hoover Dam, that is. Hand crafted, hand made arts and crafts rule this event and the list of artisans is great. Of course we will be there with new glass art, pewter and mineral creations and much more.

Our first five shows this year have been fantastic, five more are scheduled and there should be a few in the fall, as well. As we write this note, about 50% of American adults have been vaccinated and some states have opened up 100%. California is scheduled to do away with most restrictions by June 15. Definitely tings moving in the right direction. Be safe. Have fun. Hope to see you there.

Dozens of gem and mineral dealers will show all kinds of rock, mineral, crystal, jewelry, rough and polished, retail and wholesale. This is an outdoor event. Fun for the entire family. This FREE event is held at the Antique Steam Engine Museum, 2040 N Santa Fe Ave, Vista, CA, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 9, 10, 11. We are looking forward to showing off some new minerals, jewelry and of course, Sherry’s glass art.

We had a great time at the London Bridge Renaissance Faire in Lake Havasu City, Arizona this past weekend. We saw jugglers, fire eaters, bird show, belly dancers, pirates, comedy, music, food and of course, we were there. Hope to see you in Vista for the rock show.
