Years ago, outside of Joshua Tree National Park, before it was a national park, was the “rock” show. It was hosted by a local gem and mineral society and held at a local campground for decades. The club faded away and the campground was sold. The show found a new home, at a new campground, still in Joshua Tree. The first show in the new location was held in the fall of 2023 and was a great success. The Spring show will be held at the Josua Tree Lake RV & Campground, this week. It is a five day show from Wednesday through Sunday, April 24 – 28. Almost 40 vendors will have rock, gems, minerals, jewelry. The show targets families and rock enthusiasts of all ages. Beginner collectors, advanced collectors, lapidary artist, rough rock, finished rock – you cannot be disappointed. Safe, fun, FREE admission and FREE parking, and outdoors. Hope to see you there!

This aerial photo shows Quartzsite and us setting up early in January. The road just below is bumper to bumper traffic during the day this week as the town has grown to thousands of RVs and people coming for day trips to shop. WE are at Tyson Wells, Spaces V3-7.
