Years ago, we stopped in Bishop, California, along the US 395 to take a break on a car trip home from visiting family in Nevada. In the city park was an arts and crafts show. Booths were spread out on the grass, under the trees making a delightful diversion for us. Little did we know that just a few later that we would retire and become one of the artisans in Bishop City Park.
The show is hosted by the Inyo Council for the Arts serving the Eastern Sierra area of Inyo County. We pride ourselves, as we have said in the past, that most of our shows benefit non-profit groups such as the art council.
Held in the Bishop City Park, this show features high quality photography, jewelry, woodworking, watercolors, sculpture, clothing, and much more! Food vendors keep the crowd satisfied with a variety of foods. The show runs in conjunction with the Tri-County Fair from Friday Sep 1st – Monday Sep 4th.
The magic of the Eastern Sierras along US 395 could be just the thing you need to complete your summer. Hope to see you there.
