Cristmas Letter 2020 – Some Good News of Peace

“Will you please tell my husband to wear his mask because I love him,” she pleaded to me.

So, I turned to my friend, “Please wear your mask because she loves you.”

With exaggeration, he responded, “I have never received so much loving in all my life.”

We all enjoyed a good laugh.  It was July 4th and our friends were visiting our booth at the street fair in Bridgeport, California, this year.

Many of our family and friends have expressed that they are suffering from anxiety and stress this year and our hearts are heavy for them.

God tells us not to worry, but to pray, “Worry about nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6

The result is unimaginable peace, “And the peace of God, which goes beyond all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

God offers us peace now and forever. Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:1-2

An apostle asked Jesus, “Lord…how can we know the way?” John 14:5

And Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6

Our prayer is simple: For all of our friends and family to find that peace, now and forever, that can only be found in God, through His son Jesus, our Christ, our Saviour, our Prince of Peace.  Our faith in God has been a comforting source of peace in this year of anxiety and stress.

We are in good health, the yard never looked better, we have had time to create new glass and mineral art, do some rockhounding, and … we still like each other.

A Very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous, Healthy and Happy New Year to you all!
