Is it a form of ancient communication or children’s graffiti?   Symbols and images etched into the desert varnish by early native Americans leave many unanswered questions.  Perhaps petrogliphs are many things.  We may never know.

We hiked briefly this morning outside of Las Vegas, while visiting our Mom, recovering from a fall.  Sunshine, vistas, wildflowers and more greeted us at Red Rock – a favorite place to visit.
